RPV is ZAR revenue divided by unique visitors. It puts a 12-person newsletter next to a busy homepage on the same scale: how much rand each visit was actually worth.
The board already has Visitors · ZAR revenue · RPV. Empty until a real event lands. We do not invent the number so the tile looks busy.

Why this matters
Two sources can look the same on traffic and nothing alike on money. A landing with few visitors and a high RPV is worth another hour. A campaign that sends a crowd and a R0 RPV is not.
Why a traffic tool is not enough
A cookieless traffic dashboard shows visitors. It will not show rand per visitor unless you invent an ecommerce event and a report. GA can compute it after ecommerce is wired. Most SA shops never finish that.
How Cashline does it
cashline('pageview');
cashline('purchase', { amount: 199, currency: 'ZAR', reference: 'ORD-1042' });Amount in rand, not cents. First referrer, landing, UTM held from the first hit. Cookieless visitor ID in localStorage on your origin. Snippet sets no cookies. No sample data. If nothing fired, RPV is a dash. Dummy R99 on /test = TEST charge, not invented traffic.
How to read it
Overall visitors/ZAR/RPV. Empty: “Empty until a real event lands.” First pageview: Visitors 1, revenue R0, RPV dash. “First click is in. Waiting on a rand.” First purchase: revenue lights the real amount, RPV fills. “A click became rand.”
Does not claim: user counts, loved by, live processor other than Paystack TEST, filters or AI we have not shipped.
